Is there any likelihood that registration of 18 year olds will pick up significantly now that it is after Labor Day and high schools and community colleges as well as 4 year colleges are back in session?
What we find is that there is always a surge leading up to a big election. But the size of the surge, and whether the gains can be carried over from one year to the next, really depends on organizing and raising awareness.
