This is exactly why we are having Christian Baum, the executive director for the Cornerstone non profit to come and talk about registering Gen Z. He has grown a small tiny group to a massive organization. A friend and I run a regular Thursday afternoon protest in Los Feliz. During the course of our daily routine we’ve taken to handing out pocket Constitutions that included The Declaration of Independence. We get them here:
At our June 5th protest a young man arrived and sat at the bus stop waiting for the bus. I was carrying an inverted American flag. I approached him and asked, “When was the last time you read this?” Then handed him a Constitution. He said a very long time ago.
I asked him how old he was, “15” he replied. I told him “I’m 70, and I’m not out here for me, I’m out here for you, so you get a chance to see 20”. He then extended his hand to shake mine and thanked me. I shook his hand and said you’re welcome.
Your high school students ought to receive a pocket Constitution with every pre registration. Even if they for whatever reason don’t preregister they should still receive one. The investment is pennies when bought in bulk. How much progress are you making with Nick Melvoin at LAUSD?

Looks super interesting. They work with post-secondary school students. We work with high school students. I hope you’ll send him our way.
