This is great news, Laura! It also reminds me of a piece I wrote back in June (bobmorgan. substack.com/junior-senior-to-a-junior-becoming). One thing I think could use more emphasis is the notion that working on voter registration could serve to meet a student's community service requirements where applicable.

So true. At The Civics Center, we give community service certificates to those who organize voter registration drives in their high schools so they can fulfill these requirements.

This is so kind, Diane. Many orgs were involved. Our friends at the Campus Voting Project of the Fair Elections Center and Students Learn Students Vote played major roles.

Laura,

Recommend you set a donation goal $(250k?) like on go fund me. Simon does it for Hopium Chronicles and keeps advancing it as we “ blow through it”

This is outstanding news! Can this guidance be made permanent, or is it subject to changes in Administrations? And while registering on campus is great, wouldn't it be desirable to also have voting locations on high school campuses/parking lots like I remember from eons ago? I wonder if security is the new issue that prevents this means of inspiring young people to vote.
