Please provide a donate button, preferably to a not-for-profit entity focused on registration and later, get-out-the-vote so I can help you from out of state. Also, please focus on the 19 to 26 year-olds - GenZs. They have the opportunity to save our democracy, especially as they probably 70 more years ahead of them. Nationally, there will be 30 million more GenZs than were able to vote in 2016 while there will be 10 million fewer over 65s. Now is the time for the equivalent of the "greatest generation" to take the reins by voting.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for this wonderful comment! The Civics Center's mission is to bring voter registration to every high school in America. We are a fiscally sponsored project of Community Partners, which is a 501(c)(3) organization. In 2020, 86% of registered youth turned out. One of the biggest problems in youth turnout is that many high schools have no effective or equitable program to get their students registered. As of the midterms, only 30% of 18 year olds were registered. We focus on high schools, rather than 19- to 26-year-olds because that is where we see the greatest gap and the greatest opportunity. You can learn more in our other substack posts and also on our website at thecivicscenter.org The link to support our work is here: https://secure.everyaction.com/BrhJvhmGU0e8vjIyMXQLdg2?ceid=29253311&emci=a45af7ef-6461-ee11-9937-00224832eb73&emdi=abe4135b-d562-ee11-9937-00224832eb73&refcode=10042023_civic_tcc_eng . Thank you for your quick call to action on registering young people in CD3. While others are already focusing on the horse race, you are doing the work!

I appreciate your explanation. May I suggest providing a website on a postcard can give a high school senior an additional avenue for registering to vote. The reach of Postcards to Voters is proven effective and would boost turnout alongside your organization’s efforts. I’d like to see more coordinated efforts to turn out young voters.

Will there be a Postcards to Voters effort to support CD3 registration?

Thank you for the question! For 2024, we are focused on writing letters, rather than postcards because they offer more flexibility to have more detailed messages. Depending on resources, we may be able to add NY. Right now we have a letter writing campaign going for Arizona. In NY, digital outreach provides us the ability to send QR Codes for the state's three different voter registration systems. There is one for people with driver's licenses. And two different ones for people without, depending on whether they live in the 5 boroughs of NYC or not. All of this is a lot for a post card. :) All dollars received through this link will go to our outreach to NY. https://secure.everyaction.com/yfCefMiNbEucxpZ2tSpjbA2
